Depilex Smileagain Foundation , a non- profit organization, in collaboration with an Italian team of doctors , continues to work for the amelioration of acid and kerosene burn victims in Pakistan. Our objective is to rehabilitate these women, restoring to them a sense of dignity and achievement, and mobility through surgery.

The Italian surgeons, in furtherance of their commitment to these victims, were here in May 2005. During their stay they performed operations on previous patients and a number of new cases. All surgeries are complicated and involve procedures of skin grafting as well as the insertion of skin expanders.

The next goal for Depilex Smileagain Foundation is to establish Vocational Training Centres. These Centres will enable the victims to learn a craft. This will facilitate their re absorption into the mainstream social order as well as render them financially independent. They will thus become contributive members of society.

We hope that donations will help to further our cause, and help towards making a better today for these innocent women and children, victims of social injustice and human failing. We are constantly in need of financial support and time commitment from like minded persons.
