Launching ceremony of two national research studies ‘Situation Analysis of Domestic Workers in Pakistan’ and ‘Female Labor Force Survey’ was held in Lahore. DSF team comprising Masarrat Misbah, Ayesha Taslim and Yasmeen Zahoor participated. All about DSF

I was humbled by the invitation from Dar-e-arqam, the first islamic all girls college. The event organized was named “ilm humari pehchan, Pakistan meri jaan”. It was undoubtedly very well oragnized, the faculty as well as the students were extremely warm hearted and gave a open armed welcome. Independence media activities

This month has been quite eventful so far, because it was my beloved country’s Independence Day. Several channels approached me to invite me on their shows for the Independence Day to talk about the Depilex Smileagain Foundation and its cause.  I was recently invited to a dinner in Karachi, which was hosted by Mr and Mrs. Misbah Udin Khan; it was held in collaboration with doctors from both Pakistan and Germany. Acid Throwing Offenders to be Hanged

Channel 5 Khabrain studio in Lahore arranged a forum to discuss the rising incidents of violence against women with special focus on acid throwing incidents. Representatives from different walks of life including politicians, medical doctors, lawyers, social workers were invited to participate. Yasmeen Zahoor, Mariam and two acid burn victims; Kulsoom and Naureen joined the discussion on behalf of DSF. The moderator presented a brief of violence against women in Pakistan. Fund Raising in Australia

Very successful fund raising events were organized through DSF volunteer supporters in Australia. Ayesha Bux and her team lined up events in Melbourne and Sydney which led to raise considerable amounts for surgeries of acid burn victims. DSF team comprising Masarrat Misbah, Ayesha Taslim, Sabira Sultana and Farayal Gouhar travelled to manage the events. In Melbourne Masarrat Misbah gave personal grooming and makeup sessions to registered entrants at two different venues in the city. Leadership Marathon

Students of LUMS (University of Management Sciences) organized the annual flagship event in the campus of Suleman Daood School of Business. Masarrat Misbah and Ayesha Taslim participated in the event. Masarrat Misbah was invited as guest speaker. Pakistan’s leading conference management organization Nutshell Forum hosted Women Leadership Summit at Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore.
